2002-03-13 - 4:51 p.m. Today someone returned after an absence from diaryland, and I wrote a little poem to welcome them back. I'm so proud of it that I'm going to share it with you all: - Oh, I missed you so Like I would miss a missing toe That made me hobble very slow Twitching wildly to and fro Or as an arrow fired from bow Would miss its target and then go Glinting in the moonlight's glow Into the neck of G. Trudeau Causing him some untold woe While blood from the wound does brightly flow Oh deary me OH SHIT OH NO!!! - Some minor alterations made to improve the scansion. (Still miserable). Find the original here. - "Janine, Janine, you'd like to know me well But I've got things inside my head not even I can face Janine, Janine, you'd like to crash my walls But if you take an axe to me You'll kill another man Not me at all" - David Bowie
