2002-02-21 - 11:13 p.m. Phrases and silly things from my childhood have stuck with me forever. Because the first really intersting computer game I ever played was "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" then I will forever know the words to this poem: Freddled Gruntbuggly, thy nacturations are to me As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee Also the first sliding-pieces puzzle (you know, the plastic tiles that you push around to make a picture?) that I ever had was a promo for a company called IPEC... I will never forget the yellow logo, or the byline: "If it's urgent, send it IPEC". So much junk gets accumulated in the ol' noggin. And so much precious stuff disappears. I went to a whole bunch of amazing wonderful life-changingly exciting parties around the time I was 17/18... now when I try to remember them there's just a kind of vague blur, except for the embarrassingly stupid things I did... I never forget an embarassment. - "If you think we're gonna make it You better hang on to yourself" - David Bowie
